Logistics
Register at race base; collect your map, pre-printed with the location of the CPs and your Control Card for the first stage. This must be carried with you to collect your points. The Dynamic Adventure team will be available to offer advice on navigation, route choice and kit.
There will be a short race briefing before the start of the race followed by a kit check, which everyone must attend.
The starts will be staggered; your particular start time will be displayed on the board and on your control card.
At the start you’ll be given a list of the CP descriptions and their assigned values. You return to race base for the transition and you’ll receive your second set of descriptions and a new control card at your second kit check. (In the winter races you’ll receive your night navigation cards during the second transition.)
If you run over your time limit for any stage, penalty points will be deducted, see Race Rules.
